I'm your host, Jennifer Pilates, and today's episode is designed to center you in truth, realign you with intention, and inspire you to walk through this powerful month of August with confidence and clarity. If you've been feeling ways of energy, a push to shed the old or a quiet calling to realign with your deeper purpose, you're not alone. August is no ordinary month. From rare planetary alignments to the potent Lionsgate portal to an amazing new moon. August brings a clear message. It's time to activate what's been waiting within. So let's dive in. Let's explore what this month truly means. Historically, energetically and how you can harness this moment to reset, realign, and rise, let's start with the fact of, wow, when did August get here? Now? I know we've all been talking for a while. That, my goodness, it seems like time has sped up and has it not. I was driving a car today with a friend and we were talking about it's Wednesday, and I'm like, I know. I feel like the past three days have been a week in three days. And then we were talking about the date and it was like, oh yeah, it's gonna be August 8th or ninth, in the next couple days. And I'm like, what? I'm like, what happened August 1st? I never even was aware that August 1st came and went. All I know is I've woken up and today is actually, I'm recording this on August 6th and the ninth is right around the corner. And we know that within the last few weeks, time literally has sped up with the earth the way that the earth was shifting. And, I've talked about this in other, in previous podcasts. So it's not just, wow, it feels like time is speeding up. Not only is time speeding up, I wonder and tell me if you've noticed this. And I noticed it the other night. I looked out and I went, is it getting darker earlier? And my friend was like, well, yeah, like it's the time of year where like, and I'm like, no, no, no, no. Like, it, it, it went from all of a sudden just staying. Dark later to all of a sudden earlier, not by like a second or a minute, it just seems like there's this huge shift that's going on and it so coincides with the energies that are going on right now with everything. And if you've been popping in and out of the podcast, you know, I've been trying to do lots of small snippets to help break down in layman terms. Everything that's going on from the solar storms to the retrogrades, to everything, because there's a lot and it's really hard to digest all at once. So I'm really doing my best because you all have asked for it. So I'd like to deliver to you what I can do to be helpful in helping you to understand and really be able to feel empowered within knowledge of what's going on so that wow, gosh, I'm feeling all over the place, but oddly enough, based on the energies. That's what's really happening. So that means you're in flow. So hopefully this is all super helpful to you. as we're diving into this incredible month of August that, oh my God, now it feels like it's almost over, right? Let's start with something you might not have considered. Where does the word August come from? The month is named after Emperor. Augustus, the first Roman emperor and adopted son of Julius Caesar. Did you know that? Because, I'll tell you what I didn't know that the word itself comes from the Latin meaning to increase. So whether or not you follow astrology or numerology, the energetic tone of this month is built right into its name, expansion, elevation, and empowerment. When we look at the numerology of August, August is the eighth month of the year, and in numerology eight is all about strength, confidence, leadership, abundance, and karmic balance. Think of the number eight. Its shape represents infinite flow and inner power. This year, the energy intensifies even more on August 8th, also known as the eight eight Lions Gate portal. So what is it and why does it matter so much? Because Lord knows everybody under the sun is speaking about it. So let's dive into it. The Lions Gate is a cosmic alignment where the sun is in Leo and the Star series rises in the sky aligning with orients. Belt and the earth, while ancient cultures, especially in Egypt, observed this celestial connection as very sacred. What matters most is what it stirs in you and I today, and that is courage, clarity, and calling. This is not a wish upon a star moment. It's a get radically honest with your soul kind of moment. It's a portal of presence, a time to write down what you truly desire. What do you want? Not the egos version, but the aligned version, the one that frees you, the one that nourishes your soul, not just your schedule. If you've been waiting for the right time to start over, it's here. You are literally in the most amazing manifesting energy right now. So harness it. Write down, physically write down. That is such a beautiful connection and powerful connection with the universe. Pen to paper, writing down exactly what you desire. It's called scripting. When you script, you're scripting from the ending back to now. So I want you to script from August 8th, 2026, where are you? Oh, I have goosebumps saying this. What does your life look like? Where are you living? What is the energy of the day? What's the weather like? What are you driving? What are you eating? What are you wearing? Are you on the beach? Are you in the city? What books are on your shelves? Do you have a podcast? Did you write a book? You're going to script from August 8th, 2026, all the way back to present day. And when you do, that is how you quantum leap. That is how you align with the universe so powerfully that you are able to collapse time and space. Looking through the month of August, astrologically speaking, just a few days after the eight eight portal. We experience a rare and beautiful full moon. On August 9th, which is going to be an amazing energetic portal. And honestly, right now, not only are we open and to the portal of the eight eight lions gate with all of the manifestation that's going on, we're also in the portal of this full moon. So you wanna talk about amazing energy. This is such a time not only of manifesting, but of releasing and remember, in order to bring in everything that you're wanting. Releasing is important. Cleaning up your energetic backyard so that you have room for everything that you're calling in. Now, just a few days later, we experience a rare and beautiful alignment between Venus and Jupiter, the planets of love and expansion. This isn't just about romantic love, though. For some it definitely will be. It's about connection and creativity and clarity of heart. On August 12th, your capacity to receive is. Amplified. So say yes to Joy. Say yes to meaningful conversations. Open up to unexpected gifts. This energy supports financial blessings, creative breakthroughs and healing and relationships, especially the one that you have with yourself, As if that weren't enough. We've got an amazing meteor shower that peaks the same night between August 12th and August 13th. This is a cosmic illumination. This is a moment to go outside, look up, and remember you're not stuck. You are not behind. You are connected to something so much bigger. The shooting stars are visual affirmations from the universe. Let them remind you that you are allowed to dream again. You are allowed to wish and act on those wishes. Then comes one of the rarest alignments of the year, A six planet parade. Oh, August 18th, mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, and Neptune line up in the sky. They are signaling momentum and multidimensional clarity. This isn't a time to wait. It's a moment to move. The energies are aligned for decisive action. What has felt confusing will now be crystal clear. What once was stalled can now surge forward. And when this happens, make sure that you breathe ground and respond. There's no reacting here. So if we dive deeper into this, at this point in time, August 18th, mercury will have already gone direct. Yes, we still will have other planets that are in retrograde, but the energies are supporting that. If you've been working on something throughout the retrograde, you know you're working on a new launch, you're working on a book, you're working, but you haven't really put it out there for the public yet for everyone to see. This is gonna be the time to shine your light, and whatever it is that you wanna bring to the world, harness that energy. Now we close out the month with the rare black moon, the second new moon in a single month. These don't happen often, and their power is felt so deeply. This isn't surface level reset energy. This is cellular soul level. This moon between August 22nd and 23rd, this rare black moon is a sacred reset, and she's asking you, what are you still carrying that no longer belongs to your next chapter? Release it. Write it down, burn it, cry it out, or simply breathe through it and release it in the stillness of the moonlight. This is an invitation to plant new seeds, yes, but also to clear the soil, to make room for what's real, what's aligned, what empowers you from the inside out. Can we just say, wow, this month is filled with moments of activation, release, and transformation and emotional resets. Expect clarity after confusion, courage after contraction, creative ideas that have been waiting in the wings to rise. But here's the reminder. You don't have to do all this alone. This is a big month. This is a lot of releasing to bring in and aligning. August is not about pushing through. It's about supporting your nervous system, honoring your emotional rhythms, and staying grounded while reaching for the stars.
